If you’re looking to return to a four-year, two-year, or Tennessee College of Applied Technology, you have come to the right place. Southwest Tennessee Reconnect Community, a regional action initiative of the Southwest Tennessee Development District launched in 2016. Thanks to a generous grant from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and support from the State of Tennessee, the Lumina Foundation and The Graduate Network! we were able to launch our Adult College Access Initiative and Mobile Innovation Lab in 13 counties in southwest and south central Tennessee. It also means that we are able to offer all of our services completely for free!
We know it’s hard to make the decision to return to school as an adult! No matter what your circumstances, we want to help you. We offer free advising to both working and out-of-work adults, nontraditional students, parents with hectic schedules and all of you out there who have made the courageous step to further your education!
We have partnered with many regional colleges and universities along with community-based organizations, local government and employers in order to find the best program for you. We offer assistance dealing with defaulted student loans, scholarship resources, advising services and counseling as to which industries and careers will be best for you! The Tennessee Reconnect Community also works in partnership with the Graduate! Network, a national non-profit, with a mission of increasing the number of adults completing college. The Tennessee Reconnect Community initiative is based on the Graduate! Network’s collective impact model for improving outcomes for adult learners by engaging local community organizations to provide adults with advising, support, and a personalized path to and through college.
